The approval from Kickstarter just came through. Looks like the project will go live Monday morning.
I’m a little nervous for Life on Bitcoin, but that’s kind of the point, isn’t it? I don’t know how this will work. I don’t know where we’ll get our food, or our fuel, or anything. I know there are places that accept bitcoin, but I don’t know who or where they are, and there certainly can’t be many near where we live. I don’t even know if my landlord will accept bitcoin for rent. Justin, if you’re reading this, I was planning on asking you after we start. We’ll talk soon.
Honestly, I don’t even know if this will fund. But if it does, I think we’re in for an interesting ride.
I’ve always been interested in technology, the Internet, business and entrepreneurship. In the industries I’ve worked in, disruption is a great thing. Every entrepreneur is trying to figure out how they can disrupt business as usual. That’s how they make money, and how they provide a better product or service to the paying customer.
I think bitcoin is disruptive. At the very least, it could disrupt my life in a big way.
